The Geo Room has been set up as a means for me to share my expertise in the natural sciences and travel! I fell in love with Geography and the sciences as a young teen and couldn’t get enough of it. I have decided to pour all of my knowledge into a dedicated website for the benefit of students and avid travellers!
Until the start of 2023, I was a bit of a hermit! I hadn’t left the country since before the pandemic hit and had become too comfortable staying at home. I decided as a New Year’s Resolution to get back out there and explore the world more. Starting with baby steps of trips around the UK and quickly building to Germany and Belgium, no one can stop me now!
I have fallen back in love with travelling and I am constantly on the lookout for good deals that allow me to visit more and more places, on a tight student budget of course!
I can’t wait to see what the future holds and I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
Aside from travel, I have another strong love in my life – geography. I suppose the two go hand-in-hand so it makes sense really!
As I’m currently studying Geography at university, I also post lots of articles and blog posts about current geographical topics that interest me. A glance through my posts will probably show you that I love geology most, but I always try to push myself to write about a wider range of topics.
Hopefully, my geography posts can inspire others to learn more about the subject and become interested in topics they maybe never even knew existed!
So, what makes me qualified to share exam resources?
You may, on occasion, see some geography posts on my page which directly link to the UK exam boards and offer advice on question answering. And you might think…what’s all that about?
Aside from studying and travelling, I love to spend my free time tutoring and helping others where I can. I achieved top grades in my 3 A-level subjects – Geography, Chemistry and Physics with full marks obtained in my Geography papers. I also gained all A*s at GCSE. I’m now an undergraduate Geography student at Queen’s University Belfast and have been working very hard to maintain my reputation of First level assignments, so I feel pretty qualified to hand out some exam help.
I have experience tutoring all of my A-level subjects to at least GCSE level and I sometimes upload my resources for the benefit of other students as well as my tutees. Should you want to get in contact about anything on the secondary education curriculum, don’t hesitate to reach out and I’ll offer help where I can 🙂
